Yes! Gizmo’s is happy to provide dog boarding for intact dogs in San Jose. While we’re not able to accept females in or near a heat cycle, we’re a happy and safe home-away-from-home for many unspayed and unneutered dogs. Please call us to get your pet’s stay started.
Yes—we ask you please bring your dog’s usual food to keep them on the diet they’re used to while they’re here. Please portion and label each serving individually so we can provide the same meals your pet receives at home. Our pet resort kitchen is equipped with a fridge, freezer, and microwave, so we’re able to accommodate special foods and diets. Meals are always served in your pet’s private suite.
Your pet’s suite includes a comfortable raised bed, so there’s no need to bring your own. Want extra blankets? Just ask!
When you pet’s here, they’ll have their own enriching activity routine to enjoy including socialization (with other pups or our staff), playtime in our playrooms and playgrounds, and lots of loving attention from our team. We’ll keep them plenty busy and entertained, so we ask you please leave their toys at home.
Our experienced team is happy to provide medications to your pet during their dog boarding stay for a small additional fee. For pets who take frequent or multiple medications, we have our TLC Package which includes unlimited med administration as well as other special amenities.

Gizmo’s Doggie Daycare is an all-indoor pet resort, but we have five turfed potty areas—one in each sector of the facility. This gives our furry guests a soft, grassy surface for bathroom breaks without having to skip a beat or even leave the A/C! If for any reason your pup is hesitant to use the turf, we’re happy to provide a leashed outdoor potty walk to encourage potty time.
Absolutely! Gizmo’s is proud to offer a full range of professional dog bathing, dog nail trimming, and dog spa treatments. We’re happy to add the services of your choice to the last day of your pet’s dog boarding stay so you have a picture-perfect, sweet-smelling pup to bring home!
