Our journey started before our pet resort ever opened its doors! Our founders are local pet parents with a lifelong love for animals. Amber has always had a passion for improving the lives of pets, working in animal rescue, veterinary care, and as an animal control officer. She and her husband Matt first provided in-home pet boarding to give dogs a warm, personal alternative to traditional local dog boarding kennels near San Jose. Over time, they realized just how much the community valued a safe, enriching, and joyful place for their pups, and the seed of a dream was planted. Amber and Matt found the perfect location to bring their vision to life and revamped it with this question in mind—”What would we want for Gizmo and her siblings?”
 
Gizmo and her doggie brothers—Rufus, Chopper, and Banjo—bring endless joy and laughter to Matt and Amber’s days. On any given day, Matt, Amber, and Gizmo can be spotted at the resort, greeting guests by name (or tail wag) and making sure every day is better than the last for our guests. When you walk through our doors, we think of you as a member of our family, and we hope you and your four-legged loved ones will join us soon!
