At Gizmo’s safety is our top priority. We require a “meet and greet” for all guests prior to any daycare or boarding stay. Our meet and greet is a one hour drop-off appointment where we will introduce your pup to staff and other friendly pups. We will observe their interactions and play style to ensure they are comfortable in our open play environment. All dogs are great dogs but not all dogs are a great fit for our indoor, open play environment. To ensure the safety of all guests we do not accept pups that:
-Show signs of aggression or reactivity towards other dogs or staff.
-Do not show basic obedience in the playroom. Pups that lack basic obedience can cause an unsafe environment by not responding to handlers when trying to redirect unwanted behaviors (i.e. humping, rioting, rough play). They are at a much higher risk of being bit by other dogs. Basic obedience helps us keep our playrooms controlled, structured, and most importantly safe.
We require the following vaccines:
We ask that you please bring enough food for your pets entire stay, divided into individual portions if possible. Our kitchen is equipped with a fridge, freezer and microwave and we are happy to prepare your pets food just as you do at home.
Experienced staff can administer topical and oral medications at no additional cost. Please bring medications in their original container with clear instructions.
We provide comfortable raised bedding in every suite and can provide extra blankets on request. For the safety and cleanliness of our facility we ask that you don’t bring bedding or toys from home.
